Appin Historical Society

Appin Historical Society meets on the third Saturday each month from September to March, usually in Port Appin Hall, with field trips in spring and autumn.

The Society was set up in 1995 to promote research into local history and to undertake the collection, exchange and publication of information and material relating to Appin and district by means of meetings, lectures, field trips and publications. Our magazine, Appin Archive, published annually in May and November, is supplied free of charge to members, either as a printed copy or by email, and is also available for sale to non-members.
