Appin Community Council has been advised that the draft Land Management Plan (LMP) Summaries and LMP Maps for Glen Creran and Appin forests are now available to view on the Forestry and Land Scotland website, together with a powerpoint presentation on each forest.

Dr Mandie Currie, Planning Forester, advised that "Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions it has not been possible to run the usual public consultation event for these two draft plans. This consultation will run until early / mid- December. The plans will then be submitted to Scottish Forestry - at which time, they will be placed on the Public Register and will be subject to a formal public consultation process."
