Find out about the progress of the project and how it contributes to the regeneration of our Scottish Rainforest. You will also have chance to meet the Local Squad, find out about deer management planning and discover how you can be involved in the project.
Please note that the Volunteering opportunities we will talk about are varied and although the activity mentioned in Part 3 requires some physical activity there are other ways you can support the project, do come along to find out more.

Part 1: 10-12pm Community Information Event

11.30-12pm refreshments and an opportunity to chat to the project team
Part 2: 12-1pm Volunteer Recruitment and Lunch (please bring your own packed lunch)
This session is for those would like to register to be a volunteer working on-site to support with the removal of invasive species. During this time, we will brief you on the hand tools involved, provide a health and safety briefing and let you know the next steps.
Part 3: 1pm onwards Volunteer work in local area
We will transport you to a local site for a demonstration of invasive species removal and for Volunteers to have a go at removal themselves. Please bring suitable footwear and outdoor clothing.
