Bird flu – dead birds
Bird (avian) flu is affecting birds around Scotland. Please follow the guidelines:
* Do not touch or pick up any sick or dead birds
* Keep dogs on a lead and away from sick or dead birds
* Do not touch wild bird feathers or surfaces contaminated with wild bird droppings
Please report dead wild waterfowl (swans, geese, or ducks) or other dead wild birds, such as gulls or birds of prey to Defra’s GB helpline: 03459 33 55 77
