Roads have received an application from Freeflow Traffic Management on behalf of contractors for BT Open reach to request a road closure to allow for essential works to be carried out for repairs and upgrading of their infrastructure. The total length of the works amounts to approximately 50m from a point near the junction with the A828 along the U44 Blarchascaig-North Shian Road. The works are scheduled to begin on the 3rd March and last until the 9th March. A Temporary Traffic Order will be in place for the expected duration however, if the works are clear before the end date, the closure and diversion will be removed.
The diversions will be via the U42 Inverfola-North Shian-Port Appin Road and the C27 Tynribbie-Port Appin Road.
It should be noted that access to the dwellings immediately adjacent to the works will be maintained at all time.
Should you have any comments on the proposal, I would be pleased to receive them by Friday 5th February.
